I don’t think I believe this poem, I don’t think indifference is the least we have to dread, but I do like the last bit, its kind of comforting it kind of makes me feel like it will all be ok in the end.

Oh Greta, this picture, this caption, touch my heart it does.
On the last night of this tour (the panic at the disco honda civic tour) I stood back and watched them take these photos (or ones just like them anyways) and my heart broke a little for everyone because I know how hard it is when you part with you friends, how a part of you never ceases to ache for them, how you wish they were near you always, but are so happy to know they are off forging their own paths and taking names and kicking ass.
I learned not to take my friends for granted and if nothing at all comes out of the last 3 years, I think that will be enough.

so we all know that the US entrant has managed to trip two years in a row. and besides raising hte obvious point - (isn’t walking and waving while not tripping like THE ONLY SKILL they have) did you know that there is a national costume portion?

but also it’s really disappointing that miss france isn’t wearing a stripey shirt and a beret while holding a baguette.
Saturday, I spent the morning reading Sense and Sensibility and theni had brunch with Justin and we hung by the pool for a bit— followed by a trip to the Acura dealership to get my car serviced and home in time to go tot he bar by myself (always an adventure).
Today, Dim Sum and Pinkberry with Michael, and then home again to finish my book and chillax some before Charlie arrives. I confess I am a little anxious for his arrival. In all our years of friendship, or relationship has been confined to the east coast (except I think on one occasion in Italy).
I can’t imagine Charlie being Charlie anywhere outside the confines of new York City.
We shall soon see as his plane lands in an hour and 15 minutes!
