In preparation for my big trip back east (and probably because I haven’t had a face to face conversation with another human in like 3 days now) I am trying to remember all those places in Providence that I loved when I lived there, to make mental notes of the places I want to go.  I have been aided in this effort by the fact Michael and I were recently talking of the Wild Colonial and trying to place it(—near wickenden, surrounded by water…)  I was google mapping different places I wanted to go, and I found this image of these three tall things (still not sure what they do).

My window Sophomore year looked out on them from like all the way across the city, and I used to stare out my window when I ought to have been working or when I was going to sleep or waking up in the morning. I remember the blinky red lights and how they blinked, even through the endless blankets of snow that providence always has.

Oh I am SO excited (and nervous) to be going back!
